Yes.: Accutane is an effective treatment for acne that hasn't responded to the usual treatments. Just make sure you don't get pregnant while you're taking it, and keep your followup appointments with your dermatologist.

Yes: Accutane (isotretinoin) is specifically for nodulo-cystic acne. If your acne has a nodulo-cystic component, isotretinoin should be helpful.
