Exam needed: An inspection by a physician would be needed to be sure, but these could be small inclusion cysts if they are not itchy, scaly, very transient or reddened.

How many: How big, and how many? How raised are they above the skin, or are they deep in the fat? They could be either multiple small fatty benign tumors or they could be multiple sebaceous cysts. If you are concerned, see a doctor who will examine them and either assure you or treat you. Good luck.
