Enzyme lack: You have a deficiency of alcohol dehydrogenase, the enzyme that metabolizes alcohol. Consequently, with you, a little alcohol "goes a long way." Since your body metabolizes alcohol much slower than "normal" people, your alcohol tolerance will be much less. Asians and American Indians are commonly deficient in this enzyme.
