Inflammation: The tissues lining the bronchi (tubes leading from the trachea into the lung in smaller and smaller radicals) are grossly inflamed by the infection, or if caused by toxic materials by them, and pain is one of the cardinal signs of inflammation. When you cough you place pressure on inflamed tissues and therefore ......................... OK?
