Tape test: Roll a piece of transparent tape with the sticky side facing out around your finger and gently roll it around the skin of the rectum, then examine the surface of the tape. If you are experiencing itching in your rectum and you see moving white threads on the tape surface, you have worms. A single oral course of vermox can rid your body of this. If this is too gross for you to do, see a doc !

No way to know: If concerned go to doc and provide stool sample to look for worms/eggs.
