Likely a pimple or: a sebaceous cyst. Fat is not likely to hurt. Pimples or sebaceous cysts occur commonly in the axilla or armpit. It is not a good idea to try and squeeze it as you could make it break open below the skin and then you will have a worse problem. Immediate simple and safe things to do would be apply a warm pack to the area. These can calm down and resolve on their own.
