Extra renal pelvis: It's a very common variation of renal development. It's repurcussions---- sometimes ( not always) can cause obstruction in the extra renal part. Most of times though--- it stays silent! Meaning no effect! Sometimes can cause renin mediated hypertension ie a kind of high BP which has renal etiology.
