MRI not conclusive: Findings on the MRI may show something but that doesn't mean you have cancer spread. These findings may not mean you have other sites of cancer. Prostate usually spreads to bone. The importance is to follow up and find out what these findings mean. Did you have a bone scan?

Reason for Gleason: The gleason score helps predict the current state of cancer and success at treatment. It is based on grade or aggressiveness of the tumor. It generally consists of two scores, primary and secondary, with the first carrying more weight. In general a score (sum) of 6 is considered a low grade tumor. The findings on an MRI may represent something unrelated. Speak to your physician for details.
