Can combination of propranolol 10 and citalopram 20 decrease bp to 105/55? my bp was so last night at 22:30. can this indicate a leaky heart valve?

Low BP maybe: Since both propranolol & citalopram are metabolized by similar liver enzymes, propranolol may built up in the body and lead to low blood pressure. This is rarely encountered in clinical practice but possible. A lower dose or a different medication in the same class may resolve the problem. Symptoms are more important than numbers. A higher pulse pressure is usually noted with valve problems.
