Im on atorvastatin and since i had my ovaries removed my cholesterol is up. do you think there is a connection? would ert help reduce my cholesterol?

Need numbers: Hi. "Cholesterol going up" doesn't give us enough information upon which to make a recommendation. Regardless, NO one on here would recommend using ERT to lower your cholesterol. We have better, more effective, safer drugs, and there is risk associated with ERT. Are your triglycerides high? ERT can increase triglycerides. We need your lipid numbers, but ERT is not going to be my recommendation.
