A member asked:

How do you know if your baby is lagging behind?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Well-baby visits: At well-baby visits, your doc takes lots of measurements: height (or length, in babies), weight, head circumference. These are all important measures of growth. Additionally, they will ask you lots of questions regarding what they are doing these days in terms of motor skills, talking, etc. These are all important ways of knowing if your baby is lagging behind.
