Common problem: You can consider over the counter treatments for vaginal candidiasis like Monistat. But if you still have 1 week of antibiotic therapy left, this may prevent the Monistat from being fully effective for eradicating this issue. You may want to review this with the doctor that prescribed you the antibiotic therapy, as often in the case oral antifungal therapy like fluconazole can be utilized.
