Yeast infection (thrush) is commonly triggered by antibiotics, and can be difficult to diagnose. The value of a "swab" depends on exactly what test was done on the swab specimen. Ask your doctor about a possible trial of an anti-yeast medication, such as single dose oral fluconazole, or a vaginal "azole" product. It seems worth a try and not likely to be harmful in any way. Good luck.
