Specializes in Holistic Medicine

Very similar but...: Holistic medicine is a philosophy of healing that involves treating the whole person, mind, body & spirit, in the context of environment. Naturopathy is a style of medicine that is holistic in nature & uses natural therapies like vitamins & herbs. While naturopaths are holistic, other practitioners like md's, homeopaths, acupuncturists & chiropractors can be holistic as well. See comments for more:.

Approach & Practice: Holistic is a term that refers to treating the whole person rather than treating conditions. There are several professions that encourage this. Naturopathic medicine is a distinct system of medicine that has a holistic approach and uses natural agents and medicines to help patients regain and maintain their health.
