World's apart: A GP has been four years to medical school, one year of internship and usually 3-4 years of residency training in scientific and research tested therapy using proven pharmaceuticals. Naturopathy teaches the use of herbal and untested treatments in a manner which they hope will encourage "natural" healing. Who does a naturopath see when sick - they go to their GP of course.
