Cephalic=head: means the head is closest to the cervix.. That's good...provided there wasn't anything else on the Ultrasound Report.

Normal: "Cephalic presentation" indicates that the fetus is in a longitudinal lie with the head entering the pelvis first. The most common subtype of this position is the vertex presentation. All other presentations are considered abnormal and may make a spontaneous vaginal delivery more difficult. Dystocia is the medical term which literally means "difficult labor."
