A member asked:

Is fda a legal body?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: The only legal body according to the constitution is the judicial branch. The legislative branch (congress) makes the laws, including the regulations that agencies such as the fda write. The fda is an agency that is related to the department of health & human services, part of the executive branch (the head of which is the president).
