Ask local pharmacist: Actually the best person to ask is your physician who recommended that dose. Because we're all US-based docs, most of us have no experience/concept of what's available outside the states, much less in any given country, aside from what we can find on Internet. So ask your local physician and/or pharmacist for options. And be sure to check your 25OH D level regularly.

Get your blood work : first. You need to see how deficient or insufficient your vitamin D three levels are. The name is called OH-25 hydroxy, vitamin D3. With your history of rickets D2 levels would be helpful. Once you have these values, it will be easier for your doctor to dose you. You may need even more than you think. However let your Dr. be the one to make that call/decision. Good luck!
