Reconsider this Rx: Metaclopramide (Reglan) is a pro-motility agent to improve esophageal and stomach emptying. However, please read the side effect profile of this medication--it may make you reconsider using it casually, especially if to be taken over a long period of time, and at several times daily. Is GERD your only indication for the drug?
