Chronic cough: at your age it is likely post nasal drip with possibly cough variant asthma. I recommend a netti pot with "alkalol" menthol sinus rinse. You could improvise with a half a teaspoon of listerine (the original yellow kind ) in the netti pot water. use bottled water. A decongestant/ antihistimine could help. Use Guaifenesin to thin the mucus.
