Cough started 1st wk in march. had urti (2 rounds of antibiotics). always had chronic sinusitis. septoplasty 7months ago. still have lots of phlegm (clear/light yellow) and still coughing for 8weeks (not as much as before). worried about cough. pnd?

Chronic cough: at your age it is likely post nasal drip with possibly cough variant asthma. I recommend a netti pot with "alkalol" menthol sinus rinse. You could improvise with a half a teaspoon of listerine (the original yellow kind ) in the netti pot water. use bottled water. A decongestant/ antihistimine could help. Use Guaifenesin to thin the mucus.
