It may be...: your PILLOW!! Try sleeping without a pillow...you are sleeping with your neck in poor position ...How MANY pillows do you use?????? Hope this helps! Dr Z

Pillow?: Might be a problem with your mattress or pillow. Also, too much alcohol or sedating meds can lead to not moving normally during sleep and we can wake up with stiff joints, including the neck. See doc if this continues and get checked out for cause.
