Kinda: Hair is an outgrowth of skin. It can be "stressed" by too much heat, chemicals (bleach, colors, straighteners, etc) overworked, over processed, overdone hair loses oils, can develop split ends. Hair growth can reflect hormonal genl. And nutrit.Health and well being. Deficiencies of nutrients, including iron, protein, etc can "stress" hair. Hormones, esp thyroid, and sex hormones affect it as wel.
