Glaucoma not painful: If you have glaucoma, and have pain, then the cause is something else than the glaucoma. The only painful glaucoma comes from acute angle closure glaucoma or advanced hemorrhagic glaucoma. The most common glaucomas are painless. If you have pain, discuss this with your ophthalmologist.
