Speak to doctor: Generally, you can only have one family member in the operating room for a c-section, as there is limited room for extraneous personnelle.

OR rules.: We cannot have too many people in the operating room to keep the infection risk low - one family member per c-section is allowed as a courtesy to the expecting family. No other major surgery has provisions for family spectators...
