Many: Please do not use St John's Wort as an antidepressant, the quantity and quality of the active ingredient in these preparations are unreliable and can be very dangerous. Fluoxetine (Prozac) is in the SSRI class as are citalopram, escitalopram and sertraline among others. SNRI class contains duloxetine and venlafaxine. Bupropion is in its own class. There are others such as tricyclics and MAOIs.
