Close to same dose: The medication your doctor put your child on is excellent for childhood depression and anxiety. That medication and Strattera are both metabolized by a certain system in the liver. When on the antidepressant, the Strattera hangs around in body much longer, so you can get away with a much lower dose, but actual levels in body are close to same. If ADHD problems, can gradually increase Strattera.
