Here are some...: Acute kidney injury is most commonly caused by contusion with sudden accelerating or decelerating events during motor vehicle accident, from which the patient may present with flank pain with or without bruise, and gross hematuria, less often by surgical accident, from which poor circulation can be identified easily, or occasionally by renal arterial embolism from blood clot migration.
