A member asked:

What would 200mg of lamictal do to someone who doesn't have depression?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Uses of Lamictal: Well... it would reduce one's chance of having a seizure :-) In addition to treating some types of seizure disorder, Lamictal can reduce the risk of depression arising in people with bipolar disorder. It can also be used as part of treatment for borderline personality disorder, or sometimes as part of treatment for obsessive compulsive disorder.
