Protein: Good to get some protein into the system right after the run, as you need to begin rebuilding and resupplying. You can make a shake/smoothie with protein powder and other good ingredients, chocolate milk with protein powder, chicken, ground meat, etc. Be sure to rehydrate as well. Good Luck.
