Go to ER: Doctors in the emergency department may use activated charcoal or stomach pumping to retrieve the drug from the stomach. For severe respiratory depression, intubation and artificial ventilation could be necessary. Drugs such as Flumazenil (clonazepam) may be prescribed as an antidote, depending on a number of medical factors.

What is the highest dose of restoril (temazepam) you can take without overdosing?
I was recently hospitalized for a barbiturate overdose. I was in a coma on a ventilator. After I woke up I went to a rehab hospital a few weeks later. The doctor there gave me restoril for sleep. Could it make me hypoxic in my current condition?
I use restoril (temazepam) every night that i don't fall asleep within one hour. Why can't i just continue this?
Sleep issues I take remeron & restoril (temazepam) but they haven't been working. I've tried many other ones & a lot didn't work. Any suggestions?
