Several things: Hydroxychloroquin is an antimalarial drug that has been found useful in treating Rheumato9id Arthritis, Lupus Erythematosis, Discoid Lupus, and in addition in some people induce remission.It does have side effects and need regular eye exams, but in general is well tolerated.

Hydroxychloroquine: Hydroxycholorquine is a quinoline medication that has been used to treat malaria, systemic lupus erythematosis and rheumatoid arthritis.
