Low risk: Potential Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) side effects include GI intolerance, itching, rash, muscle weakness and eye inflammation (retinopathy). All of these risks are very low and the benefits of Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) will far out weight the risks.
