Rash: There are several causes of petechial rashes. Some can be very minor and some very serious. See your doctor, particularly if there is any fever or other signs of illness.

See a doctor.: Petechiae are red flags. Serious infections or severe blood problems can manifest on the skin as petechiae and these conditions urgently need to be ruled out. There may be other non urgent causes as well but don't take any chance.
