Have your doctor to do a mini neurological examination of your lower extremities and compare each side (heels).If equal your PCP will be able to let you know if your diagnosis merits being referred to a neurologist or not. All things must be considered in your past medical, surgical, social, sexual, family, meds, supplement histories to arrive at the final diagnosis after a physical exam.

Possibly: This vibratory sensation in the heel is generally associated with abnormal function of a single peripheral nerve (neuropathy). Many times it will go away on its own and the cause is never known.On the other hand, if you are diabetic, drink heavily, or have certain genetic disorders, this can be the first sign of something more ominous.Seeing your PCP is definitely the right first step.
