Yes, and: 34 y male w. sciatica & several weeks of "leg give out"; reflects a serious problem. MRI needed to rule out soft tissue lesion. Neurologist can evaluate for neural lesion via nerve conduction tests, NCT. If these evaluations not fruitful, then Osteopath needed to rule out sacroiliac joint, SIJ, instability, which is undetected by MRI/NCT. SIJ disorder etiologically involves mechanical trauma.
