A member asked:

What can i take for this cold?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Symptomatic Relief: Most common colds are self limiting and do not need any treatment for the infection,as cold is caused by a virus. But some people need symptomatic treatment for runny nose and congestion.Saline nose drops or spray may help.Over the counter Sudafed may help and if there is fever or pain, you may take Tylenol or ibuprofen.I f cough is too bad you can take Robituscin DM available over the counter
