Talk to. Someone: Giving birth can be traumatic, but women don't typically like to discuss this or how it makes them feel about their newborn. Talk to your OB about what you are experiencing. If needed, seek counseling. The worst thing you can do is keep it to yourself.

Resources: Post Partum Support International has a lot of great info and Tools for Moms that you might find helpful: http://www.postpartum.net/learn-more/postpartum-post-traumatic-stress-disorder/, as well as online support groups. Above all, don't go through this alone. Please reach out to supportive others as well as individuals who have been through similar experiences; also, consider seeing a therapist.
