Abscessed cheek: There are many glands in your cheek that can become infected or develop problems that are not related to the teeth. Virus, fungus and bacteria can infect the cheek tissues. Cysts, glandular obstructions and other pathologies can develop in the cheek tissues. An oral surgeon, or an oral medicine specialist can treat this kind of problem.

Depends: Your teeth may be healthy, but your bite might be misaligned and cause you to keep biting the cheek area. There are other potential problems too- salivary stones, wound, etc. I would see a dentist- preferably an oral surgeon.
