What are the treatments if a baby's soft spot does not close by 2 1/2 years old?

None I know of: The soft spot varies in size and shape from birth forward. It will close on its own time table.Some medical conditions are associated with posterior soft spots or poor skull bone formation, but these are evident on exam. Issues the will eventually self correct are left alone to do so.
