Nodes: If they are painless and small and not located in worrisome places they likely just need to be followed. All the beat.

If they persist: If enlarged lymph nodes persist over 4-6 weeks for no apparent reason, then further testing is necessary. If they are enlarged after an infection or injury/irritation to the head, then after treatment they can take a while to go down but should by 6 weeks. Don't keep feeling them as that can aggravate it. Check once a week gently. Avoid smoke/fragrances/aerosols and other respiratory irritants.

No, trust your MD: We all have lymph nodes and if your MD is not worried you likely dont need to be. If you feel that you have continued concerns make an appointment with your MD and address those concerns. Otherwise, you need to see someone and provide a much more detailed history than space will allow here. We need to know alot about a patient to make a diagnosis.

No but: as long as you doctor had evaluated you and felt that there is nothing to worry about then you should relax but report to your doctor any changes that you might noticed changes in sizes, temperature, and soreness.most of the enlarge lymph nodes are reactive and they eventually disappear
