May be: red wine may be beneficial for heart disease(but probably no more than any other kind of alcohol) Alcohol may be beneficial as long that no more than 2 ounces of liquor OR 2 8-12 oz beers OR 2 small glasses of wine are ingested daily (and do not save all 14 drinks for Saturday night :) More alcohol than that is detrimental to the heart and liver. This is NOT a prescription!!! Be careful
