FAT Transport: There's been many different theories to why cholesterol is related to coronary heart disease. Ldl in general is utilized in our body to transport fat from diet. Unfortunately some are left in the blood vessels and engulfed by macrophages forming plaques. Small particle LDL unfortunately is known to cause this more.
