In countries that have some few polio cases , is having the ipv 5 doses considered enough or kids should take opv too ?

Polio Vaccines: The OPV is a live vaccine and theoretically provides more protection than a full series of IPV. If there is an outbreak of polio, I would consider getting a dose of OPV, the incidence of getting polio from the OPV is miniscule but it is there just FYI.

Polio: If your child received 5 doses of injectable polio, he/she should be ok and not requiring any further polio vaccine
