Brownish spotting for 1 day, period 1 day late, really heavy for 1 day, then nothing, now spotting after 2 days. also mild to moderate cramping x2.5wk?

Discharge/Cramping: if you are sexually active and not on birth control---always have to rule out pregnancy---brownish discharge and cramping also could be vaginal infection--check with your GYN doctor especially if if you have multiple parteners

Missed Abortion/PID: Two things come in mind in a young sexually active female who missed period and then had a day of bleed followed by brownish spotting and cramps. A missed or incomplete abortion or pelvic imflamatory disease or infection in the uterine cavity are possibilities. You need yo be examined by your family physician or gynecologist immediately.
