P waves: The morphology and amplitude of the waves on the ecg is quite complex and by no means specific. When someone has scoliosis or other thoracic variation in structure, this alone can interfere with the vector forces on the ecg and wave morphology. Peaked prominent P waves absent complications like anatomy are often related to elevated right heart pressures.
