Yes: It is ascorbic acid......too much excreted in urine can cause kidney stone. Daily need of Vit C is 60mg only.

Hard to do: It is a water soluble vitamin, so excess is eventually urinated out, but if kidney disease, dehydration, or taken in crazy high quantities, it (and anything) can become toxic.
