Not recommended: Vitamin C has many purported uses and benefits. There is even some evidence that high dose IV infusion might be beneficial in cancer treatment. But there is no evidence that injections are beneficial for skin health. And there is some evidence that doses greater than 2000 mg may be unsafe. On other hand, TOPICAL vitamin C--skin creams containing vitamin C--might improve wrinkled skin.
