Pelvic exam: Tell the doctor (it might be a female gyn) that you are sensitive and scared of the pelvic exam. They will try to make the examination a better experience. They need to visualize the pelvis external and internal and take some samples of tissues to find out what is causing the pain and inflammation. Good luck!

Your doctor: will probably want to examine you if you are having pelvic symptoms. It is common to have some anxiety, but don't let that keep you from being evaluated.
