A member asked:

What should i do if i think my doctor is taking advantage of me during my breast and pelvic exams?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Define "advantage": These should only be done with a female assistant "chaperone" in the room to monitor the process. If you are sensitive about these issues it is easy to project a bad intent onto the doc. If so you should change docs to one you are more comfortable with. If he or she said or did something during the process that makes you feel this way, or had no assistant during the process, report it.
