Yes: They are both nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAID) which can irritate the lining of your stomach and portions of your intestines. Celebrex (celecoxib) is a selective-NSAID and may cause you to experience less side effects. Often times access to Celebrex (celecoxib) is limited by cost and insurance coverage. Best preventative measure is addition of a PPI or H2RB to the NSAID regimen. Discuss with your doctor.
